A Bratwurst Story
In 1945 Ralph F. and Alice Stayer opened a butcher shop in their quaint hometown of Johnsonville, Wisconsin. One day RF realized that if he used high quality meat and the perfect spice blend, he could make a really great tasting sausage-- the bratwurst.
To this day, the bratwurst is made from that same high quality meat and perfect spice blend and only one person knows the recipe, his son Ralph C Stayer. But we don’t care, because if we had a family secret that tasted this good, we would do the same. Learn everything you can (except for the recipe) with "A Bratwurst Story."
