GREAT GREEKS

" GREAT GREEKS " is a six part, documentary series for the History Channel, which was produced and directed by Greek filmmaker Demetres Anagnostopoulos.
Each documentary is a visual biography of a great, influential and memorable Greek figure of the 20th century.
These 60' biographies, include, Konstantinos Karamanlis and Andreas Papandreou ( Politicians ), Mikis Theodorakis ( Composer ), Melina Mercouri ( Actress and Politician ), Michael Cacoyannis ( Film Director ) and Constantine Cavafy ( Poet ).
The series took eight months to complete, and features 80 interviews with well known personalities, 50 days of filming in six different countries, 1200 hours of post production, with an estimated audience of 9.000.000 viewers in Europe.
