October 2018: Diagnosing and Treating Medial Knee Pain
Medial collateral ligament injuries are among the most commonly diagnosed sports injuries. It is, however, important to realize that not all medial knee pain is caused by injuries to this ligament. In this webinar, Mark Fulcher, Sport and Exercise Physician at Axis, New Zealand, discusses an approach to the assessment and management of medial knee pain with a specific focus on the medial collateral ligament. The treatment of isolated medial ligament injuries, as well as multi-ligament injuries, is also reviewed.
