Winding Stair Campground & Scenic Byway - Ouachita National Forest - Oklahoma

Eastern Oklahoma is covered by beautiful forests and low laying mountains. This portion of the state is vastly different than the western portions and offers scenic vistas, waterfalls, scenic byways which wind through the hillsides and campgrounds which offer solitude and retreat. I decided to travel a portion of the Talimena Scenic Byway to Winding Stair for this adventure and share the beauty of the area in addition to some of the vast views along the way. Come see what a basecamp at Winding Stair can offer and all that can be discovered from this point with me on today's adventure!!
