Star Trek Picard Disaster Looms? A Mirror to Our Modern Dystopia
Star Trek Picard premieres tonight. Dystopian Trek is on the way according to the CBS owned CNet and the New York Times. Gene Roddenberry's vision of Starfleet is about to get shattered and that hopeful vision of the future flushed down the toilet in an outdated attempt to make our beloved franchise "relevant.' In better hands it would be something I would be willing to give a chance. In the hands of the 'men' behind Batman and Robin and The Mummy it looks like Star Trek is heading into derpness. Hope for the best, expect the worst. All you can do with KurtzmanTrek.
