The Valve Steam Deck is a follow-up to the previous "Steam Pal" rumors. The new handheld console is running AMD Zen 2 for the CPU, using a 4C/8T variant, and RDNA2 for the GPU. Our understanding right now is that it's a monolithic die solution. Valve has confirmed LPDDR5 pairing, marking an interesting debut for DDR5 in the gaming space, and has noted three models carrying three different price tags. Release date is December of 2021, but availability will likely be unable to meet demand, as is the case lately. Valve will be opening reservations on July 16th in the afternoon (EST).
