Vulnerability is Not Weakness. It's Power.

Vulnerability is not weakness.
It’s actually one of the most powerful ways to approach people and life.

Because when we let go of our assumptions…

when we drop the presumptions we walked in with…

when we are vulnerable enough to simply be present and listen…
we hear things we would have otherwise missed entirely.

And think about how it feels on the other side.
To be trying to explain something…

and to sense that you're not being understood.

That your words are being misread.

That your intentions are being misconstrued.

That can be deeply hurtful.

Even destructive.
Because when we go into a conversation with assumptions already formed…

when we're trying to steer someone from where they are to where we think they should be…
And in doing that, something crucial gets damaged…
Trust.
And once trust is lost in a relationship…

it becomes very hard to find goodness in it again.

Having the vulnerability to put aside your judgements and just listen, protects that trust.
