Liepāja has the longest necklace made of amber.

NB. This vlog was shot in summer 2021.

The city was the first city (1899) in the Baltics which had an electric tram line – the most modern mode of transportation at the time. The largest historical military territory – Karosta. It covers about a third of the city. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra is the oldest orchestra in the Baltic States.
