Customize Your Fujifilm GFX Controls (GFX50SII, GFX100S, GFX100II)
Customize your Fujifilm GFX! In this free preview from the GFX50SII tutorial course, you'll learn how to customize your camera's custom function controls to better suit your workflow. You'll also learn how to set up and recall your custom C1–C6 settings to instantly load your preferred image quality (film recipes), focus, and exposure setups.
These tips also apply to the GFX100S and GFX100II cameras.

Here are some suggestions for your GFX50SII custom function setup:
Fn1: EXPO. COMP. The default setting, to activate the Rear Command Dial to adjust exposure compensation. https://youtu.be/LJEMQ8JVaIc
Fn2: AWB LOCK ONLY. To lock Auto White Balance when it "looks right" for consistent colors in a series of photos. https://youtu.be/1rgKmWpIAe8
Fn3: PREVIEW EXP/WB IN MANUAL. Use this when working in a studio with strobes.
Fn4: NATURAL LIVE VIEW: To toggle between the "RAW file" view and the "JPEG file" view with all of my Image Quality settings.
T-Fn1: HISTOGRAM. To get a larger histogram including RGB histogram for proper JPG exposure. https://youtu.be/pEnylBXm2L8
T-Fn2: FACE DETECTION ON/OFF. Keep it off unless there's a face in your frame, then you can quickly hit this button to turn it on. https://youtu.be/_WeHf4vahTw
T-Fn3: WHITE BALANCE. To enter the White Balance menu and adjust as appropriate for your light source.
T-Fn4: ISO. To select an ISO value or AUTO ISO program. https://youtu.be/WrVx5nVq2T0
AE-L: AE-L. To lock exposure in P, A, or S exposure modes.
AF-ON: AF-ON. To use back-button focus while in Manual Focus mode.
