Komorebi-no-Sato (こもれびの里 / Komorebi Village)" is located within Tachikawa Showa Kinen Park (昭和記念公園). It is a reproduction of the rural landscape of Musashino in 1955.
The main house is an old private restored house donated by local people.

The aim of this reproduction is not to simply glimpse the scenery of the past, but to rediscover and inherit the wisdom cultivated in the daily lives of the Japanese people.

There are Soba (buckwheat), sweet potato fields, rice paddy fields, orchards and tea gardens. All worked on by volunteers from the area.

There is also a water mill (水車) and a "Charcoal making hut" at the back of the main house.
