Flight into SUN N FUN 2018

Join us on our FIRST EVER flight into Sun N' Fun! Flying into Sun N Fun can be notoriously difficult for pilots on busier days. Things can get real dicey as multiple dozens of aircraft converge into the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL) and try to land on one of 2 assigned runways. Fortunately for us pilots, the FAA has assigned some of the top air traffic controllers in the Country to work this week-long event to help ease the flow of traffic and significantly reduce the risk of accidents. All pilots flying into Sun N Fun should familiarize themselves with the published arrival procedures on the FAA's website (faa.gov). Carefully reading over this document and watching videos like this on Youtube will significantly help you be prepared for your flight in. If you are a pilot and have not yet flown into to Sun N Fun, DO IT!!! It's a lot of fun and you won't regret it!
