LATAM Regional Workshop on Building Resilience of Transportation Infrastructure

Join the Regional Workshop of Latin America, where we will discuss strategies to strengthen the resilience of transportation infrastructure against climate change. This event, organized by the Ministry of Transport, the National Land Transport Agency – ANTT, and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure - CDRI, will bring together authorities, experts, and stakeholders to share knowledge and develop solutions tailored to the region's realities.
Target Audience:
Professionals and authorities from the infrastructure, transportation, climate change, and disaster management sectors.
Workshop Objectives:
The objectives of the workshop include knowledge exchange through sharing experiences and best practices in climate resilience, strengthening capacities with the enhancement of technical and institutional skills in infrastructure adaptation, and developing specific solutions by identifying vulnerabilities and creating customized solutions for the transportation sector. Additionally, the workshop aims to promote regional partnerships, encouraging collaboration between policymakers and experts, and will conduct a risk assessment to define long-term strategies aimed at sustainable planning.
