Gorr reaches the center of the universe where Eternity’s gate lies hidden. He wields Stormbreaker, the mighty hammer that can unlock the secrets of creation. They fight against the horde of shadow beasts that serve Gorr.

Thor and Gorr engage in a duel that shakes the foundations of reality. Foster joins the battle, wielding Mjolnir, the original hammer of Thor. Thor distracts Gorr long enough for Foster to destroy the Necrosword, sacrificing herself and Gorr in the process. Then, he retrieves Stormbreaker and sends the children home with it, but he fails to prevent Gorr from entering Eternity.
