Greetings friends, IL Magic Travel is here again!
Today you will travel along Route 98, about 100 km\62 m long.
Highway 98 is Israel's easternmost highway. Highway 98 passes through the Golan Plateau, starting on the southeastern coast of the Sea of Galilee, and ending in the very north of Israel near Mount Hermon.
We start recording at the very beginning of this highway at the Ma'agan Junction and end it at the very last meter of the HW 98. Near the bottom of Mount Hermon.
So, from the Ma'agan Junction we go a little east, along the border with Jordan. At the Hamat Gader fork, turn left and climb the South Pass to the Golan Plateau. Next we continue our journey north along the flat part of the Golan. After the Druze town of Majd Al Shams, we will have another pass and a serpentine to Mount Hermon.
You will see the beauty of the Golan. Strict and majestic. Pass by moshavim and kibbutzim. Through the Druze villages. There will be a serpentine road and a road straight as an arrow.
