DYEING MY HAIR PINK! (Philippines) | darlene

Hey, I’m Darlene! ♡

I finally got the chance to dye my hair pink! I’ve dyed my hair pink before but it was just a balayage so I was like EHHHHH that was boring I wanna go full head pink 🤣 At first I kept on hesitating because I did not know how to bleach my hair alone; but after a lot of conversations with myself LOL here we are!

A lot of you guys asked me how I did it by myself so I’m answering FAQs:

1. How did you bleach your hair, how many times did you have to do it?

I had to bleach my hair thrice. I bleached my own hair at home for the first and second time. Then, I went to a salon to get it bleached for the third time since I got really lazy because bleaching takes soooo much time to do.

2. What products did you use to bleach your hair?

I used a tub of bleach powder and a 30 vol. developer (Monea). I bought those products at Hortaleza. I don’t think the bleach powder that I used has a brand but if you specifically want to use one that’s branded, I suggest the Loreal Quick Blue Bleach Powder (be careful bc that’s kinda strong so make sure you use a lower volume developer).

3. What hair dye/color did you use?
