1 Man Moves Shed with Car. Basic Tools.

I bought nothing for this job. All were scraps. If you don't have many basic tools and materials, you might consider getting a flatbed towtruck to operate on a per-hour basis for you and have them do the job. If it's over 8.5' wide, you'll have to either get a permit, or wing it like a man at night.

Tools suggested: lowboy floor jack, 4x 4" pvc pipes (schedule 40 or thicker), some blocks which are thicker than the floor jack, LOTS of extra wood or other objects with which to raise the shed into the air, some wedge shaped objects to stop the pipes from moving, and a big ass pry bar. You can often substitute a nice 2x8 for the prybar. If your shed is on dirt, you can dig a hole and put the floor jack in it to get the thing off the ground.
