Tropics Update: No organized systems in the tropics, but we're watching two areas for development

With Laura done, we currently have no named storms in the Atlantic basin. That certainly won't last forever as we are nearing the peak of the season (September 10) and the NHC is currently tracking two tropical waves in the Atlantic.

The tropical wave further west will move toward the Caribbean as we head into the next week. Models aren't too aggressive with development, but we'll keep an eye on it. There is still no guarantee it organizes into anything.
