Producer and Mixing Engineer Mark "Spike” Stent, who received an honorary doctorate from the University of West London in 2019, gives a guest lecture on his mixing techniques.

Interviewed by Professor Simon Zagorski-Thomas, Mark Stent explores subjects from compression to reverb and how timing is important in mixing using a track produced by MA Record Production student, Andrea Succi, as an example.
