When you notice your tarantula is lying on its back, LEAVE IT ALONE. It is in the process of molting. Do not touch it, do not move it, do not move its enclosure, do not feed it.. DO NOT do anything. Leave it be and in most cases, everything will be fine. Also after they molt, don't feel them for at least 1.5 weeks. They need to harden up. Also, make sure there are no feeder insects left in the enclosure, as they can harm the freshly molted spider.
