Thousands Flee North Gaza as Israeli 4pm Evacuation DEADLINE Approaches

Thousands of people are fleeing south after Isreal asked more than 1M people in northern Gaza to evacuate the area.

Earlier today Israel released this footage of pamphlets asking people to evacuate being airdropped.

In a tweet in Arabic an Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson asked people to use two routes south, that would apparently be safe between 10am and 4pm local time (7am to 1pm GMT). The spokesperson also posted a map showing the safe routes.

Meanwhile there’s been a major build up of Israeli tanks and armour in Southern Israel.

While Israel has continued to launch strikes against Hamas targets in Gaza, including rocket launch sites, it’s not yet launched its ground offensive.

With the evacuation deadline fast approaching, many believe Israel will launch its ground offensive imminently.

But the Israeli Defence Forces have neither confirmed or denied these reports.
