The Path of Exile Survival Guide #15: Welcome to CRUEL! - Act 1 Cruel

After an epic fight with Dominus in Part 14 of the Path of Exile Survival Guide we now make our way into Cruel difficulty. The game really starts turning things up now in terms of challenge and most beginners get stuck somewhere in this difficulty. I'll now be focusing on character progression and dealing with the specific challenges you'll face rather than explaining how to do quests and clear zones.
