Easy DIY Tote Lunch Bag with Zipper - Step by Step Beginner Tutorial with Free Pattern!

Welcome to Meghan Grace DIY! I have been sewing since I was 8 years old and have done lots of great things in the sewing world from making figure skating costumes to teaching high school fashion to freelance costume design to college fashion professor. This video is a tutorial on how to make an adorable zippered tote for all your knick knacks or to bring snacks to work. You can easily add a layer of insulated fabric to make this a lunch bag. You can also scale the pattern up or down to make the bag bigger or smaller. This tutorial is easy enough for the beginner but great for the seasoned sewer as well!

Supplies for this tutorial:
13in by 8in piece of cotton for the top band
26 by 8in of cotton for the bottom band
Heat and Bond Fusible Interfacing
14in by 14in piece of quilted fabric (2 pieces
12 inch zipper
Sewing supplies like an iron, pins, thread and sewing machine
