Public Transport in St. Maarten is very reliable and very safe for both locals and tourists, during our trip we tried it out and were not disappointed. Depending on where you are on the Island it's a $2 charge one way, people are very polite they say hello if they get on the bus to people already on the bus. Don't hesitate to get on public Transport in St. Maarten it's safe and reasonably priced.
