‘Inconceivable’: US Supreme Court is trying to ‘silence’ online opposition
Former CIA analyst and author Martin Gurri discusses how members of the US Supreme Court are weighing in on internet censorship.
“It is inconceivable to me there are Supreme Court Justices that feel that the First Amendment is some sort of 18th-century old fashioned obstacle to the government working smoothly,” Mr Gurri told Sky News host James Morrow.
“The government, which has tried again and again, and it is trying even as we speak to silence opposition online by essentially intimidating the great digital platforms into going along with their ideas.”
