𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝑻𝒐 𝑵𝒐𝒘 has been quite the journey. I have always had a heart for community and during my career in law enforcement, I focused on just that. It was important for me to be able to connect with those I served, so I trained and served as a Crisis Intervention Officer and in doing so, I found my passion for mental health.

From there I mentored at Girl Power of Miami, a prevention and intervention social change program servicing young “at-promise” girls age 11-17.

After transitioning from law enforcement, I became a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line, a not-for profit organization that provides, free 24/7 mental health support via text message.

I also worked with organizations to end human trafficking and became a facilitator of Ending The Game© (ETG), a first-of-its-kind “coercion resiliency” curriculum designed to educate and empower survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing a structure and framework to uncover harmful psychological coercion (a.k.a. “The Game”) that victims may have been subjected to during or before their exploitation experience.
