Training is not about killing yourself in the gym…

And it’s definitely not about curling 5lb dumbbells for 30 reps while scrolling Instagram.

You don’t need to train like a Navy SEAL…

But you also don’t need to treat the gym like a yoga class with weights

Here’s what actually works:

✅ Start with 1–3 lighter ramp-up sets.

That just means practice the movement. Get warm. Build up to your working weight

Then hit 1–2 hard sets.

Go close to failure—like you couldn’t do more than one extra rep.

The speed which you move the weight WILL slow down...

This is how you know you're creating enough stimulus

Not in your fifth ‘easy’ set of 20

You don’t need 10 sets.

You need 40 focused minutes… and some guts to actually push a bit
