I Redesigned the FIFA Logo for Canada — Hidden Maple Leaf in the Letter A #fifa #logo #branding

FIFA Canada edition — an unofficial concept reimagining of the FIFA logo for one of the World Cup 2026 host nations. Watch the full process in Affinity Designer.

Canada co-hosts the 2026 World Cup, so I rebuilt the final "A" as a tribute to the country. A maple leaf is carved into the negative space of the letter — the maple leaf is the defining symbol of the Canadian flag — set in Canada's red and black. And the letterforms are softly rounded, because a football is round and movement is the heart of the game.

A maple leaf in the empty space. Red for the flag. Curves like the ball rolling.
