Kwon was drafted in the 4th round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During Week 8 on November 1, 2015, Alexander played the best game of his young career against the Atlanta Falcons in memory of his late younger brother Broderick Taylor, who had passed away just 48 hours before the game. Alexander's 11 total tackles, interception, pass defensed, and fumble force and recovery were vital to Tampa Bay defeating Atlanta in overtime and earned him the title of NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

On December 7, 2015, Alexander was given a four-game ban for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances
