During a conversation with the Vaynermedia interns, Gary gets on to the topic of patience and time. So many ambitious 20-year-olds are hungry to reach their goals but they don't contextualize how long it takes to get there. They think that if they don't reach their goals tomorrow that they failed and should pursue something else. If you can understand that at 20 you have only lived maybe a quarter of your life, and you have plenty of time to reach your goals, you will start thinking much smarter and slower and likely reach your goals sooner than the impatient mindset many 20-year-olds have.
