In this video I explain how do tuition fees work in Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences. After watching the video, you will know whether or not do you have to pay for tuition in Finland, how much tuition fees cost and what do university tuition fees cover.

The information about tuition fees for universities and universities of applied sciences (UAS) in Finland is pretty much spread out all over the internet. This is because the amount of tuition that you have to pay depends on the school and the degree programme that you apply to. In addition, whether or not you are liable to pay tuition depends on your citizenship and the level of degree that you apply to. To clear up some of the confusion, I have prepared a comprehensive Google spreadsheet that lists all of the major university programmes and their annual tuition fees in Finland.
