When is a Goldendoodle Full Grown? 🐶 We did the math! 🐶 (2022) 🐶

📢 A question that gets asked a lot, and usually frantically by first-time Goldendoodle owners, is “When is my puppy going to stop growing?”. This is because Goldendoodles grow at an incredible rate for the first 11 months of their lives, something that can make it hard to accurately guess their future weight and size if you aren’t used to it.

🐶 Goldendoodles are rapid growers but ultimately start to taper off around 12 months, where they are about 97% of their full size. When looking at a size chart (show size chart here), you can see that up until about 36 weeks, or eight months, the Goldendoodle is still growing at a pretty considerable rate before it begins to finally slow down.

🐶 Goldendoodle growth is easier to recognize and put into perspective if you break it down into parts like we just did. Some more milestones to watch, and more checks to make sure your doodle is still holding true to the predictive formula, are to continue to use it at important milestones.

🐶 Goldendoodles can vary significantly in size, but if you know what type you have, you can start to narrow things down. A full-grown mini, medium, and standard will be about 30, 45, and 60 pounds respectively.
