Lokayukta Raid On Ballari RDPR Engineer Over DA Case |ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ RDPR ಇಲಾಖೆಯ AEE ಗೆ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಶಾಕ್

A major Ballari AEE Lokayukta Raid has taken place after allegations of disproportionate assets against RDPR Department Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Vyasagara Tippeswamy. Lokayukta officials conducted searches at multiple locations linked to the officer in Ballari district.

The raids were carried out at the engineer's residence in Hanuman Nagar, his property in Kudatini town, and his office premises in Siruguppa taluk. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Ballari Lokayukta SP Vasudevaram.

According to preliminary information, the searches were launched following allegations that the officer had accumulated assets beyond his known sources of income. During the operation, officials reportedly discovered around 300 grams of gold ornaments, approximately 800 grams of silver ornaments, six sites, and cash.

Investigators also recovered about ₹1 lakh in cash from the residence and reportedly froze around ₹5 lakh held in bank accounts as part of the ongoing inquiry. Authorities are now assessing documents, property records, financial transactions, and other evidence collected during the searches.

The Ballari AEE Lokayukta Raid has attracted attention as part of ongoing anti-corruption efforts targeting disproportionate assets cases involving public servants. Further investigation is underway to determine the total value of the assets and whether they are proportionate to the officer's declared income.
