France is witnessing its last moments as a relatively civilized and liveable society. Alas, thugs are taking over the country. So I set out to look for any precursory signs of thuggish presence in the wealthiest city of France, a golden labyrinth of gated communities and home of countless millionaires and sons of millionaires.
Spotting the presence of thugs even in such a place would mean that the situation is even more dire than I'd thought.
