Aleph March'25 AI Day - Only Web3 Can Save Us from the AI Apocalypse

Aleph March '25 was a month-long Popup City, conference, and startup program that transformed the Aleph Hub in Buenos Aires into the beating heart of the Latin American Web3 and AI ecosystem. Designed as a community-driven event, it brought together builders, founders, thought leaders, and institutions to shape the future of the onchain world through collaboration, experimentation, and knowledge sharing. Over 3,000 people joined us to learn, collaborate, and build what’s next.

The AI Track explored the intersection of artificial intelligence, Web3, and creativity through a mix of talks, panels, and workshops held across several key moments during the month. This track builds on the foundation set by Crecimiento's AI programming launched in October 2024, aiming to deepen the dialogue around building with AI—ethically, creatively, and technically.

In this provocative talk, Adrián Garelik, founder of Flixxo, asked a pressing question:
If we know AI shouldn’t control missiles, why did we let it control content? Drawing from decades of experience in decentralized media, Adrián explored the risks of algorithmic dominance, centralized curation, and narrative manipulation — and how Web3 technologies offer a path to reclaim content, culture, and autonomy in the age of AI.
