Tesla Terafactory Texas Update #99 in 4K: Late Evening Flyover - 01/26/21 (6:15pm)

Hey everyone, it’s Randy! Welcome back to the channel! I have an accidental treat for you guys with today’s video as I was much later than usual making it out to the site and started to film just before sunset. Given the structures currently present on the site, we can really start to imagine just how stunning this factory will be at nighttime as the lighting and views were flat out amazing! As usual, everything is coming together quickly so let’s jump right into it.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
- On the north end, we see that crews have reached the perimeter grade beam at the far north edge with the structural steel, as we can see 4 new columns set up. Given their current pace, my best guess would be that they are most likely to have the rest of the steel erected to fill in this end by end of day Thursday or sometime Friday. I get another look at this same area later when it’s darker and again, the lighting over the site is just amazing!
In the northeast corner, we see many more Double T roof sections have been installed and it looks like they are a little past halfway done with adding them until they meet with the structural steel to the south. The tent has been removed from above the casting machine and some of its parts, but it remains covered with some protective plastic or tarps.
- The central structural steel along the eastern edge has a mind of its own and is a flat out monster that’s growing probably the fastest out of all of the structures. Many of you guessed that it would be 2 weeks until this one and the structural steel directly north of it joined. I’m guessing closer to 3 weeks, but I could realistically see it being in the 2 to 3 week range. We’ll be watching!
- At the south end, we see all of the remaining footings have been dug in the area to the immediate north of the structure and the ones along the perimeter grade beam now have rebar in place, which means they’ll have concrete poured by tomorrow. Underneath, we see lots of activity getting more areas prepped for more concrete to be poured, which they are almost done with for this entire area. There is a unique section of freshly poured concrete at the far south part of this section. Does anyone know what this may be given the shape of it? We also see at both ends of the west side of this structure that there are temporary electrical transformer boxes present, so we should be seeing some power at the site from the grid pretty soon.
- In the southwest section, we have even more prefab wall panels being staged in this area and also the current assembly of another large yellow crane.
- Finally on the west, the structural steel on the west continues to grow and on second thought, maybe this section is expanding faster than the one across from it on the east side? It’s a toss up, but both are moving at impressive rates nonetheless. We also get a glimpse of them actively raising columns for the next section needed to expand to the north!
