I saw thick black smoke coming from up the road in DeHavilland Rd. I went to check it out and realised there were no fire trucks and the fire at the Mordialloc Factories was getting very large very quickly. I rang 000 who confirmed they knew about the fire, I said send everything it's very large now.

You'll hear a few small explosions and you can see that the brickwork becomes cracked throughout the facade.

Soo lucky that the blustery wind had died down.

It turned out that 13 fire trucks from Fire Rescue Victoria ended up on the scene. As I write they are still here cleaning up their gear with roads still blocked.

I'm tipping the building will have to be torn down.
