Who knew that it would all start with one album? Before Sharon Cuneta became showbiz’s ‘Megastar’,’ she was a precocious young teen with a knack for singing. Vicor’s head of music production Tito Sotto, who was also Sharon’s ‘Tito,’ recognized this and arranged for Sharon to record a song he happened to have of a talented songwriter by the name of Rey Valera. The rest, as they say, is history – when Sharon cut the debut album “DJ’s Pet” which also included the carrier single “Mr. D.J.”

Sharon’s debut single and album became the smash record that launched a career that eventually branched out into the movies, TV, and the eventual loyal fandom that made Sharon into the ‘Megastar.’

“DJ’s Pet” and the pop gem “Mr. D.J.” is now reissued by Vicor with all the essential early tracks that launched a young Sharon Cuneta. This album, with its original artwork, makes it the ultimate OPM throwback.
