ICJ AO Delivery Big Tent Mobilization Session – West Call

On Tuesday, 23 July at 1 PM UTC, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will deliver its much-anticipated authoritative judicial ruling on States’ obligations in relation to climate change, live from the Peace Palace in The Hague, the Netherlands. This is a moment to stand with frontline communities, young leaders, and all those fighting for a livable and just future. Together, we can make sure this landmark opinion sparks real-world change and holds States and corporations accountable for the climate crisis. This mobilization session hosted on 17 July at 1 PM UTC was to collectively plan for the delivery.

The session's objectives were:
- Build momentum with civil society allies and discuss mobilization plans for the delivery
- Share overarching strategic messaging guidance and helpful messaging tools
- Recall what the key legal issues are to look out for and what next “legal steps” would be
