ATOMIC HEART VR is here thanks to a NEW VR MOD! // Quest 2 PC VR 4090 Gameplay

A brand new VR mod has just landed which finally makes Atomic Heart VR a reality; originally Atomic Heart was meant to have an official VR mode but somewhere along the development journey this feature was sadly scrapped but we now have a new way to experience what was originally promised. This new VR mod is actually an update to the existing Luke Ross VR mod framework, both Atomic Heart VR and High on Life VR were added to the compatibility list and I thought I would check this one out to see how well it runs. The good news is this Atomic Heart VR mod is absolutely gorgeous to look at in headset once you get the resolution and settings just right, taking in the scenery and checking out all the awesome enemy designs is fantastic and worth experiencing if you have the game on Steam or via Gamepass. However the bad news is this VR mod doesn't change the fact that Atomic Heart is a pretty dull game (for me anyway), something about the gameplay just fell flat for me and I didn't continue playing past the 3 or 4 hour mark, so if you're hoping VR will make this fairly forgettable game more enjoyable you might be barking up the wrong tree.

Atomic Heart VR / the Atomic Heart VR mod is available now via the Luke Ross Patreon page, all Patreons get access to the REAL mod which works on a wide variety of games. This Atomic Heart VR gameplay was captured using a Quest 2 hooked up to PC via link cable, this footage is representative of the game running on an RTX 4090 (4090 VR gameplay).
