Actor and comedian Griff Rhys Jones takes a journey throughout his native Wales as he embarks on what he calls a 'personal odyssey' to explore the land that he refers to as a 'remarkable country'. Each episode of the programme sees Griff visiting a different part of Wales, from Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire to Conwy and the Brecon Beacons. Along the way, he is tasked with challenges that are designed to test his Celtic credentials and adventurous spirit, including taking a dip in a mountain lake and taking a ride on the longest and fastest zip wire in Europe.
