Isla socorro 2018

This short video shows the spectacular nature of Isla Socorro, a remote island located about ~600 km from the mainland of Mexico.

I was fortunate enough to spend an entire month on this astonishing island with two amazing people (Jay and Magdalena). We tried to map the many cliffs of the island and interpret their geology (hence the many drone shots). During this trip we stayed on a Mexican navy base.

Going on this adventure was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I'm extremely grateful for this experience. Thanks Socorro, for having us, and maybe till next time!
