Vintage Stanley Miter Saw [Restoration]

This old tool restoration is a Stanley 150 miter box and saw. These were manufactured between 1923 and 1969. They were made with an open front to allow the cutting of wider boards and the ability to use any type of saw in the saw guide. The compact size allowed a carpenter to have one of these in any toolbox, and easily transport to any job site. The sacrificial board on the base is fir and a mahogany hardwood roller was installed on the back to help control the depth of cut.
