Por onde passa, a professora Elizabete Rodrigues marca forte presença. De instrutora rabugenta, virou mestra companheira, que persiste e faz acontecer. O conteúdo das aulas vai além do que trazem as apostilas de física e matemática. Mais do que ciências, ela ensina a sonhar alto, bem alto. E a conquistar os sonhos. No sul do Amapá, da fértil cozinha de sua casa transformada em laboratório escolar, os estudantes realizam experimentações, voam pra longe e trazem prêmios científicos internacionais.

Wherever she goes, teacher Elizabete Rodrigues has a strong presence. Starting out as a grumpy instructor, she blossomed into a friendly master teacher that persists and makes things happen. The content of her lessons go well beyond what any physics and mathematics book show. Much more than science, she teaches how to dream high, very high, and how to make dreams come true. In southern Amapá, the fertile kitchen of her house was turned into a school laboratory, where students performed experiments, flew away and returned home with international science awards.
