Food Under 1k is a challenge we are taking to appreciate the possibility to make do with 1000 Naira Nigerian currency (approximately 3 Dollars) to cook a kind of soup that can be enough for at least 3 persons, possibly a family for one night.
We took the challenge and see what we made of it in this episode. We made olugbu soup (bitterleaf soup) and we use ingredients like cameroon pepper, seasoned cube, ogiri, palm oil, salt, vegetable, stockfish, crayfish, beef, ede (cocoyam) and lastly onugbo (bitterleaf).
Watch this video, make yours and challenge us on the type of food you will like us to cook next.
