Make Your Own Inexpensive Natural Deodorant

Make your own, inexpensive, natural deodorant, using baking soda, cornstarch, coconut oil, bentonite clay, beeswax and a few drops of orange essential oil. Coconut oil, baking soda, orange essential oil and beeswax are anti-bacterial. Bacteria is what causes body odor. Bentonite clay and cornstarch absorbs moisture. We've been using this recipe for over two years and it works great! Make sure to moisten the deodorant or your skin before using.

Most commercial deodorants and antiperspirants use chemicals that are questionable and then you apply that right to your underarms, where there are a high concentration of Apocrine and Endocrine glands. Not a good idea in my opinion.
