Hana is back to her antics with Shinichi. Unfortunately it falls under the same problems that many romance anime get into... Still slightly better than season 1 overall.

My Thoughts on Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out S2

Uzaki Chan s2 started off strong. Really solid jokes and interactions with the two love birds: Hana and Shinichi. At around the halfway point, I felt like it hit a wall that many other romance shows suffer with. That wall being the fact that it’s dragging out the confession or any type of progression between the lovers. For whatever reason most of the focus in the 2nd half of the season was on Hana’s family, where they were seemingly the main characters. It felt weird and out of place. Most dialogues between Hana and Shinichi boiled down to the same thing: both people are avoiding expressing their feelings, bottling it within them. Shinichi didn’t even realize Hana liked him until the final episode. I do think that season 2 overall was a bit better than season 1 and that’s reflected in my rating of 6.5/10 for season 2.
