"The Lucky One" is the second single released from the 1984 album Self Control by Laura Branigan. It was a moderate-sized hit in the United States reaching number 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance chart and number 13 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The single became Branigan's fifth US Top 40 hit.
