International Student Wins 2020 CSU Trustees Award for Outstanding Achievement

Jayden Maree, a third-year CSULB Aerospace Engineering student from South Africa, was recently honored with the 2020 CSU Trustees’ Award. International Recruitment Assistant Bram Verburg recently sat down with Maree to discuss how this scholarship and coming to CSULB has changed his life.

The CSU Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement is given each year to students who demonstrate superior academic performance, personal accomplishments, community service, and financial need.​​​ Each awardee will receive a scholarship of at least $6,000 for the upcoming academic year.
