ROCK DRUMS mixing process - getting started in 10 mins!

Before really starting any mix (especially rock or metal), or even producing a track around real live drums, you need to have the drums in a good starting spot to hear how they are going to sound, and you also really need to know how you can manipulate them, and how you might need samples to augment the sounds.

In this video I walk through my process for getting drums into a good starting place, from RAW files to a decent place to start. Once you do this a few times, this is a great 10 min process for starting any drum mix.

Feel free to also skip around if you want some of my insight when dealing with each elements Iisted in the chapters), but I suggest watching the whole thing to get the insight and thoughts that build on each other all the way through. It will help you in the long run with your drum mixes.
