Lei Wulong (Chinese: 雷武龍 Léi Wǔlóng; Japanese: レイ・ウーロン Rei Ūron; It may be written with given name first as Wulong Lei) is a character in the Tekken series who was introduced in Tekken 2 and has returned for all subsequent games with the exception of Tekken 8. Lei is a skilled police officer from China, though he has lived and worked in Hong Kong for all of his known professional career. He is known for his lighthearted personality and laid back attitude. While being one of the more comical characters in the series, he has dogged tenacity when it comes to his work and extraordinary skill as a martial artist.

He is the No. 1 detective of the Hong Kong International Police Force. Lei's partner was killed by the International Mafia. He finds information linking Kazuya to this Mafia and enters the tournament to try to bust Kazuya and crush his organization.

Wulong has a reputation amongst our Triad and Sicilian business partners for being unbiddable and intransient. His partner was recently 'retired' during the unfortunate events involving our own champion, Bruce Irvin.

Wulong Lei, Hong Kong's International Police Agency's Number 1, uses a self-developed form of Chinese Kenpo. Following the trail his deceased colleague left behind, Wulong pursued the puzzling case of the mafia's money-laundering operation. A mafia accountant, who was on board the same flight that killed Wulong's partner, was on his way to deliver some very important documents to Kazuya before the flight went down.

Wulong has entered the tournament to confront Kazuya about this matter.

During his time as one of the most respected Hong Kong police detectives, Officer Lei Wulong has developed his own style of Kung Fu, and uses this to his advantage when facing the many criminals he encounters within his home metropolis. A number of killings lead to the investigation of Kazuya Mishima, who was linked with several Triad and Mafia transactions across the globe. Lei vowed to track down the center of Kazuya's operations and retrieve Bruce. To further his inquiry, he enters the second Rave War![14][citation needed]

Lei is practicing his shooting. He runs out of bullets, smiles and reloads. Lei then fires more shots. There is a close up on the target, with bullet holes saying "The End".

Tekken 2 (鉄拳2) is a 1995 fighting game developed and published by Namco. The second entry in the Tekken series, it was released for arcades in August 1995, and was ported to the PlayStation in 1996. The home console version introduced new, now-staple game modes to the series, as well as full-motion video endings for every character. It was re-released as a playable game within Tekken 5 on PlayStation 2 (PS2) in 2005, digitally on PlayStation Network for PS3 and PSP in 2007, and on PlayStation Plus for PS4 and PS5 in 2023.

There are 25 playable fighters in the game, which includes 17 returning veterans from the original Tekken and eight newcomers, including Jun Kazama and Lei Wulong.
